Background
Murat Arık was born on December 19, 1993, in Kütahya. In 2008, he relocated to Istanbul, where he discovered his passion for photography during his high school years. This early recognition led him to join a photography studio in 2009. Over time, he refined his expertise through formal education and experience at various studios. Arık’s photographic style is marked by authenticity and emotional resonance. Avoiding filters and artificial techniques, he prioritizes a genuine representation of his subjects, allowing their true essence to emerge. This emphasis on sincerity has enabled him to collaborate with numerous high-profile individuals and prominent brands in the art and business spheres. In 2021, Arık undertook a notable project entitled “70 Çizgi,” featuring black-and-white portrait photographs and biographies of 70 influential figures from the business community. The project earned two significant awards, underscoring Arık’s standing as a photographer of distinction.
